The fire has been lit in Washington & Romeo, Michigan!
Last night we had a jam packed house full of carriers of fire at the Burton house!
It started with a raging hour of praying in the Spirit that set the pace for a late night of extreme passion and glory.
The liquid glory of God was overwhelming at time. This is the way to launch a new church!
We had seasons of prayer, worship & hot seat style personal prophetic ministry. There was an absolutely sudden, surprising and remarkable healing during the prophetic ministry. Simply awesome!
It ended with an awesome prayer walk at 1am downtown Romeo, Michigan.
REVIVAL CHURCH NORTH
As you know, we are looking for a team of church planters who are not faint at heart.
The adventure has begun and it’s awe inspiring! We need highly devoted, hungry people to jump onto our launch team with us.
As we prayer walked in Romeo, we prayed properties into the Kingdom. We are aggressively looking for two things:
- A storefront in Romeo where we can set up a house of prayer style church where we can gather nightly to intercede for the region.
- Some partners who are willing to invest into revival financially. We need approximately $2000 a month to move into a storefront. You can donate right now at www.detroitrevivalchurch.com/donate.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: In the mean time we will not meet on Sunday mornings in Washington Township.
When we move into a storefront we will continue our Sunday morning meetings in addition to some weeknight prayer events.
theLab
theLab kicks off its next session on January 10th, 2013.
The refreshed School of Fire will as a part of its mission be training people in church planting. Amy and I have been blessed to watch churches grow from zero to a vibrant ministry multiple times, and we will be relaying the strategies to our students.
The students will be instrumental in infusing Revival Church North and our 50 planned Detroit region churches (or tribes: www.revivaltribe.com) with fire.
They will travel from tribe to church throughout the region each week and release the fire of revival in white hot prayer meetings!
Someone asked me if the tuition for theLab was a typo. Nope!
